NASA lists FIVE 'close' asteroids heading to Earth THIS WEEK

NASA has listed an incredible five asteroids heading to Earth this week – with one of the space rocks almost the size of Big Ben.
The space agency says two asteroids – the 2018 EU1 and 2018 EU2 – will whizz past on Wednesday.
Experts predict the 27-metre long EU1 will approach Earth at 8.18am UK time, while the EU2 will zoom past at 1.45pm at a length of 32m.
On the following day the 2018 EH space rock will head towards our planet at 7.02am.
NASA measures the asteroid at 80m making it the biggest set for this week.

At that size, it falls just off the height of Britain's flagship Big Ben building which stands at 96m tall.
It also measures almost as high as New York's iconic Statue of Liberty standing at 92m high.
Then on Sunday, the 2018 ET1 and 2018 EC1 are penned in for a fly-by with our planet.
The ET1 is due at 06.31am, and it's also the closest of the five.

Experts think it will whizz by at 4.37 lunar distances away, which is around 1,042,710 miles away.
And although NASA say there is no risk of collision, it is listed on its "close approaches" page meaning its staff will pay close attention to it.
Finally the 2018 EC1 is predicted to speed by at 10.10pm on the same day, measuring up to 34m.
Daily Star Online previously revealed how NASA has drawn up plans to blast a potential doomsday asteroid with nuclear weapons.
